Dead Reckoning

Känner mig nästan lite stolt. Har lyckats (fram tills nu) att inte söka på den nya Charlaine Harris boken. Då jag vet att min Sookie abstinens skulle ha blivit ännu värre. Men idag gick det inte längre. Boken heter Dead Reckoning och handling är den här:

Since Sam Merlotte is now known to be two-natured, suspicion falls immediately on the anti-shifters in the area. Låter väldigt intressant. Förra året läste jag boken direkt när jag fick hem den, och då blir det ju ett års lång väntan inför nästa bok. Man kanske borde försöka att vänta med boken i ett par månader..men nej, i mitt fall vore det omöjligt. Hade nog inte kunnat låta den ligga oläst i ens en vecka. Men men, nu är det inte långt kvar alls, den 3 maj släpps den.

Suprise suprise..

Har trott i flera månader att den tionde boken i Sookie Stackhouse serien Dead in the family av Charlaine Harris skulle släppas i juni. Så jag fick en riktig chock (positiv sådan) när jag var inne på adlibris och såg att den släpps den 4 maj. Man kunde förhandsboka den, vilket jag var väldigt snabb med att göra. Så nu dröjer det inte så länge innan jag kan stilla min Sookie abstinens^^ Handlingen verkar ju onekligen väldigt intressant:

Sookie Stackhouse has finally settled into a relationship with the Viking vampire Eric, and her errant brother Jason seems to have his life in order, too. But all the other people in Sookie's life - Eric himself, her former lover Bill, her friend and boss Sam - are having family problems. Eric's maker shows up with Eric's `brother' in tow, the ailing Bill can only be healed by a blood sibling, and Sam's brother's marriage is about to take place ...or will it? The furor raised by the coming out of the two-natured has yet to settle; some people are just not ready to sit down to dinner with a man who turns into a dog. And Sookie herself is still recovering from her last ordeal. She's definitely improving, physically and mentally, but she's always going to have some dark moments now. The werewolves tell her that there have been strange and ominous passers-by in the Stackhouse woods; now Sookie is about to come face-to-face with one of her more distant relatives...
